Freshly Made Sketches

Good morning to you all.  If you have been reading this blog for a while you may remember that I used to do Mojo Monday Challenge.  I found having to stick to a sketch was a challenge and often took me out of my comfort zone.  However whilst doing these challenges on a regular basis it certainly widened my choice of styles.  When you make card mainly for charity this is a good thing as then there is always something someone will like.  I am sure any cardmaker will know that almost everyone who looks at the cards will have a different favourite.

The other day I had a new visitor who left a comment, allowing me to connect back and visit her blog in return (big welcome to “gingerninjacrafts”) and there I found her taking part in the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  This challenge runs from Wednesday to Monday each week and after having a look and reading their rules, I decided I would take part.  So here goes with my first challenge.

This was the sketch for this week FMS Final 337-001

and here is my card DSCF5983

The beautiful stamps were from the freebie set with this months Stamping magazine (you will be seeing more from this stunning set).  The paper used was from a 6 x 6 Paperstack called Animal Insticts.  Card is 6 x 6 premade craft card.

See you on Wednesday

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.
