SAL SUNDAY – A bit of a change.

Firstly I need to apologise as no one got comments from me last time. I have been having a bit of a tough time and my mojo for both cards and stitching went AWOL. I just seemed unable to give my attention to anything, and though I could not find it in me to craft, I was lost without said crafts. In the end my great friend Terri told me to put everything away where I could not look at it. Then after a few days get my boxes of charts out and see if I could find anything that would appeal. I sat listlessly looking through the hundreds of charts I have and then suddenly came to the Victoria Samplers charts. Samplers are great as what you are doing changes almost with every line or element. So I decided I would kit up and have a go at Ravenhill Herb Farm. I started it earlier this week and here is where I was by teatime on Saturday.

It was a bit of a plod at first but the last couple of days I have actually wanted to stitch again, so I think this is doing the trick. At the moment my intention is to finish this and then go back to Village of my Heart. If and when I finally do all the frogging needed on Iris – hardanger then I may go back to that too but for the now I just need to get my mojo back on track.

If you follow these SAL posts you will know what wonderful projects others out there are doing so as I always advise – grab a drink, sit back and enjoy looking what everyone else is up too.

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.

I agree with Terri – when your mojo goes missing, there’s no point in searching, it will eventually come back . . . and starting a brand new project is often the best way to help.
