SAL SUNDAY (YESTERDAY) Im late – sorry)

I am afraid I missed yesterdays SAL post. For some reason my reminder seems to have gone awol. I will check my Junk folder later – just in case. and secondly I had my second Covid vaccination on Saturday and although a slight bruised feeling being my only symptom last time. This time I had a headache, a very painful arm, and slept most of the day.

That said you have missed nothing as I have been busy with other things and had not stitched on Village at all. I did some stitching on my hardanger and found I had made a couple of mistakes and the chart was rather misleading too so, I have a load of frogging to do. I keep looking at it but it pushed my mojo right out the window. Never mind, there are lots of very pretty projects taking place in this group. So why not pop over and check them out. Our members are spread all over the world so please allow for different time zones.

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.

Hope you feel much better and energized very soon. Bummer, but let the frogging commence, then you can enjoy stitching!

Congrats on getting your second jab! I’m only a week and a half out from mine and really looking forward to getting it behind me. Sorry it made you feel poorly, but glad to hear you’re feeling better now.
Frogging is often enough to put me off my stitching — but it will always be there waiting for you when you get it back. I’m sure your Village will have new things for us to look at next time!

  7. Thanks for the encouragement Sunny. My son told me (and not sure how true it is) that the reason you have more of a reaction to the second one is because your body has some antibodies already from the first jab, so when you get the second jab your body automatically goes into fight mode, which can cause tiredness, headaches, slight nausea etc. May or may not be true but it certainly makes sense lol. xxx

Sorry to hear that you felt ill from the vaccination. I was quite poorly from my first one so I’m hoping the second goes better. I’ve been told that if you have the AstraZeneca jab, you get the side effects on the first jab (that’s what I had) but the Pfizer one, you get the side effects on the second one. Hope you’re feeling better now, anyway 🙂

    • I had the Phizer, but hubby was given his at a different place and had the AstraZeneca, however he never had anything but a slight bruised feeling in the area of the jab on the first one. He has about 10 more days before he gets his second. I still a bit more tired than normal but apart from that I am back to normal now thanks Carole xx
