I started on Iris – Garden of Hope last week, and despite a couple of set backs, got three of the Kloster blocks and Four Square stitches in the centre done. I was tempted to finish the fourth one but it was time to move back to my SAL stitching.
So here it is at present:-
It’s now back in the box until after the next SAL post, when I will work on it for another week.
/The other day Jenny of The Gingernijacraft blog, which many of you will know; posted a picture which set me thinking. I have lots of odds and ends of really pretty backing papers, which I havent had the heart to use where they will be hidden away. So I have been happy playing at using them as the main feature on some small 6 x 6 inch cards. I feel really happy with these, and they will make a nice addition to my charity cards.
and a couple more cards to share that I made for friends.
I do have some more to share but the recipients read my blog sometimes so do not want to put any spoilers up here.
I had my Pfizer vaccination on Saturday. Though the centre I visited – Littlewick Medical Centre in Ilkeston – was very busy, everything was so well organised and apart from the 15 minute obligatory wait in case of reaction we would have been in and out in two minutes.
I hope you enjoyed looking what I have been up to and do visit Jenny and see what inspired me to do my featured paper cards.
Stay safe, and hugs to those who need them,
