I am so sorry but I have dropped out of the SAL for the time being. Unfortunately I didn’t let Avis know until yesterday so she will have been unable to let you know in time either.
I am up to my eyes in Christmas cards at the moment and my mojo is still on holiday where Garden Alphabet is concerned. I thought a little break from it may refresh my enthusiasm and it will certainly relieve the stress I am feeling with this at the moment.
I hope to be back with you all after Christmas, and will try and visit some of you to keep up with your stitching in the meantime.
Hugs
Have a good break, and visit us When you can Helen. Once your have the Christmas cards finished you may want to do nothing but stitch!

Thank you Kathy. I am so silly, but I let myself get stressed when I am getting close to the end. I think I want it finished so much and therefore I start to make myself stitch and it stops being relaxation. I know a little break away from it will help – and maybe if I have time I will finish Daisy – only 3 more corner to do there. But it will be if I need to stitch not I have to stitch and that makes a big difference to me. xx

Bless you Claire. I think this is something I have to learn to deal with but the closer projects come to being finished the more I feel I must rush and get them done, and then the enjoyment goes. Experience has taught me the best thing is to forget it for a while so its new when I pick it up again xx
