On the 2nd September – the day after our last SAL Sunday, we set of on a tour of Italy and Sicily to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We arrived back on Tuesday and today is the first time my feet have hit the ground. Unfortunately this means that Garden Alphabet has gone a full three weeks with not one stitch. However I am sure everyone else has been busy so please go and see what they have been up to as this is a SAL with a difference and everyone is working on different projects.
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, Sue, Constanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen, Linda, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Hayley, Megan, Deborah, Clare, Mary Margaret, Renee, Jenny, Carmela, Jocelyn, Sharon
I hope to be back in a day or two to tell you all about my adventure and share my holiday stitching.
Hugs

Wow! Congratulations on your golden wedding anniversary! Just tell everyone you were a child bride. 🙂 Looking forward to hearing about your holiday stitching! (I didn’t touch a needle during my trip to Japan, so well done you for stitching at all!!!) – Sunny

Oh I would love to visit Japan but the arthritis in my hips and back make sitting for a long time very painful. The 8 hour flight to the US this summer was difficult and sure Japan would take even longer. I will do a picture of my stitching soon. I finally ironed it and took a picture so just need to download it now. x
