Autumn is done – for now…

Hello my lovely crafty friends.  A post at last, I have been so busy recently  but then we have had a week of rain,  which gave me a good excuse to be back to the grindstone and stitching.  I intended doing just a couple more lines on Autumn but as these samplers are quite small I decided to finish the stitching.  Like with Spring and Summer there are no beads on it yet.  My friend said she would add some of the beads I didn’t have in with my Christmas gift, alas Royal Mail lost the parcel.  Not that beads or even the gift was worth a fortune but they just do not appreciate that something are irreplaceable. Not valuable but bits we find to add in our parcels knowing our friend will love them, or little add on’s we make.  Yet really and truly they just don’t give a damn, and there answer is always – you should have insured it – as though money was all that mattered.  Oh well little rant over and I apologise for that lol.

Here for your perusal folks is my naked Autumn…     DSCF7120I did change the colour of the tree trunks and used just a plain DMC thread but I feel far happier about them now.

The rain has stopped this morning and there is a tiny patch of blue sky showing, its not enough to mend a Dutchman’s trousers, as my Grandmother would have said, but nevertheless its there and its blue.  With the rain stopping my bedraggled garden needs some attention, lots of dead heading and removing the flowers that have just been hammered to death recently, but I hope to be back with you soon to share more of my crafting.

Thank you for taking the time to visit, we all lead such busy lives and I do appreciate each and everyone of you.

Hugs

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.
