Playing Catch-up..

Good morning crafty friends, though with the wind, rain and hail its not really so good here.  Having said that there are lots of clouds and the silver lining means I am having time to do some catching up this morning.

Now what is better than a Happy Post – well I can tell you that on Tuesday, I  received THREE Happy Posts, so lots of nice new things for me to play with one way or another.

The first was this thread from Terri  from my friend Terri.  It seems like they have finished making this anymore and it was what I was using on my hardanger project.  Such a shame if they have stopped doing the Dragon Pearls as they are beautiful to use and were affordable in an age when so much seems to have ridiculous price tags.  Whilst on the subject of the hardanger project here is where I am now.  Just at the bottom of the picture you will see I have made a start on the blanket stitch.DSCF6893

Now back to my Happy Posts and here are the other two gifts I received.from enid march 2019 I received an assortment of beautiful toppers from my lovely friend Enid,  I am sure you will soon see these on cards once I return to making more Christmas ones. from Belinda march 2019These lovely Brusho colours came from my friend Belinda.  I have not used the Brusho colours before and though they react very like Pixie Powders they are far deeper and brighter shades of pigment.  I shall share when I start to play with them.

I have made some very quick and simple cards this last week as I will not be around for the next week or two.  Here are the results of yet another playtime.

If you are a card maker and you enjoy a challenge then can I suggest you take a look at Back to Basics and Beyond Challenge.  My friend Jenny has just become a member of the design team here and it looks like its going to be fun.

I have enjoyed, once again, sharing my crafty adventures with you and hope you have enjoyed sharing them too.  I always love to hear from you so drop me a line anytime.  I hope to be back with you soon.

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.
