Hello crafty friends. Well as the title suggest I have been playing with some of my new things.
Firstly two cards, one for a friend in hospital and another for a friend who is moving house. Both of these feature some pretty decoupage sheets which I treated myself to shortly before Christmas.
The backing paper for both these cards was printed from a Jane Shasky CD by Joanna Sheen.
This one is a Phil Martin rubber stamp from Creative Expressions – a Christmas gift from my daughters house mate. Its lovely and ideal for male cards too so thanks Carrie Ann.The background was blended using Creative Expressions Colour Cloud inks.
The last two were both from a stamp set called “Mixed Posy” also from Creative Expression and these were part of my Christmas Gift from my lovely daughter Shiona. The backing papers were both from my stash.
They were both coloured with Clean Colour watercolour brushes from Karetake. I am new to using water colour brushes but I am quite pleased with the shading on these. Much better than my last couple of attempts. I do hope you have enjoyed looking and look forward to you visiting with me again soon. Thank you for taking the time to visit.
Hugs
Your watercolour flowers are gorgeous and I love your safari scene card too. Beautiful 🤗
