Not much this time just a little back stitching which I did not enjoy and despite being so close to the end now it seems to have chased my motivation on this piece right out the door. I will not be here next time so I do hope by the time I see you again I may have found the mojo again and actually have something worth showing. Here is a last time and this time so you can see the difference – yes I do think it makes quite a difference. We have yet another new member with us this time so big welcome to Sharon. This makes 32 of us including myself. It is such a fun idea as we all stitch our own projects and just post an update every three weeks. This means all the projects are usually completely different and unlike when you go round most SALSs and look at the same thing over and over it is really interesting to visit the members of this group, so why not give it a try. Do allow for different time zones as our members are all over the world. Oh and if you would like to join just contact Avis who is the first name on the list below.
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Steph, Linda, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Hayley, Megan, Catherine, Deborah, Connie, Clare, Mary Margaret, Renee, Jenny, Carmela, Jocelyn, Sharon

back stitch is my least favourite part too, but it really does make all the difference!

That is looking splendid, Helen, and I am on pins and needles to see if Y is yarrow!

It is Kathy, but at the moment I seem to have lost my mojo where this project is concerned. I really struggled with the last couple of flowers, probably because I want to finish it now and get on to the next project, so I am maybe trying to rush instead of sitting back and enjoying it.

We’ll all be cheering you along until you’ve got a happy dance to show us. That’s what this SAL is all about. One last push! Enjoy your holiday 🙂

Thanks Avis. I have really struggled with the last couple of flowers for some reason and my mojo seems to be deserting me at the moment.

Oh Avis, I know it will be finished and its all due to the encouragement I get from this group. I just get down when I am not happy with things and then I read all the encouragement and know I will finish eventually.

I will finish it Carole, I have come to far not too. I think its just that nearing the end I seem to have had more hassle that with all the rest of it. I feel that last flower end up as more of an “it will do” than “I’m happy with that” and think its knocked me back a bit.

Well, the backstitching makes a big difference so I hope your mojo returns after you’ve had a break. Sometimes all we need is time away. 🙂

The back stitching makes a huge difference. It’s funny how our motivation for a project withers away right at the end. I’m sure it’s part of being creative!
