SAL Sunday – 2nd December, 2018

Probably like many others, I have been up to my eyes in things that have had to come before stitching at this time of year.  I have done a bit but not finished W for Wisteria yet,  but the saying that is almost the moto of this group is “any progress is good progress”.  So here is my progress for this three week period:- DSCF6540

I am now going to see what progress others have made and would suggest you do the same.  If you would like to join our group then just contact Avis at Sewing beside the sea (first name on the list).

Hope you to see you all again within the next couple of weeks but just in case either you or myself do not make it then I would like to take this chance to wish you all

PEACE, JOY AND HAPPINESS FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON AND THE YEAR AHEAD.

Hugs

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.

  1. Very pretty so far. I can feel a Happy Dance coming along early next year 😉

    • I am hopeful now, though I am planning to have a bit of time to sit back and finish the Wisteria before Christmas and there have been so many tiny dances to have along the way with this one.

    • Mine too. Normally ours flowers early and then we have another (though not as glorious) show towards the end of August but this year it flowered right through and was a real talking point with everyone.

    • I know Claire, think we are all our own worst critics. I did have quite a bit more of the flowers done but didn’t like the colours so I ripped them out and started with colours that were more like the one in our garden.

Looks like there’s a bit more of Wisteria to come. We’ll be looking forward to seeing it next year. 😉
Meanwhile, have yourself a wonderful holiday season in case we don’t cross paths again before new year!

  9. We say it to each other so often I really do think it should be adopted as our motto lol. Glad people are liking it especially as I changed the colours in the wisteria flowers.

  14. The letters and a small section of border were all freebies many years ago from an EMS designs stitch along.
