Wow the beautiful weather still continues in the UK though I am happy to say we did have some rain whilst we were away, not a lot but enough to keep the garden looking well. We had a lovely holiday and as soon as I get 5 minutes to sort out and download my photos I will share but its been a mad house here since we got back.
We arrived home Saturday morning and cases unpacked and laundry tackled was the first job. Laundry all done and sorted and Saturday night was a quick visit to our sons to take Woo’s clean clothes home. Normally mum would do them but as she was on nights I felt it was just as easy to do them along with ours and save her a job.
Sunday was my birthday, which meant the family all arrived at our house – of course they do not arrive together, friends arrived early afternoon, then Woo and parents late afternoon as mum was at work again at night. My daughter didn’t finish work till 7pm so she arrived for the evening. I had lots of pennies to spend on craft things and my daughter bought me a lovely A4 Stamp storage folder and extra wallets, something she knew I really wanted.
Monday threw up appointments with both the dentist and the practice nurse and Tuesday we were back at my sons helping with a wall demolition and clearing a garage ready for that to be demolished so that a new one can be built.
Today we were back at our sons as it DILs birthday today. Tomorrow I am hoping to get back to some crafting.
I took Kokeshi Dolls away with me and did manage to get a little stitching done
I managed to make a few cards before I went – these are small just 5″x5″.
I also managed to do my Christmas card challenge for this week, the theme being a card where the main element is a silhouette. I love this one. The border was made with a stamp from Leonie Pugel.
I hope everyone is well and hope to see you again with some holiday pictures soon
