F.M.S 339

This weeks challenge from Freshly Made Sketches has been just that; a real Challenge, for me.  This is the sketch

FMS Final 339-001I am not into CAS (Clean and Simple) cards.  Although I do like them and try not to make my cards too fussy, I find all that white space difficult to cope with. I could not work out what I could do and then whilst lying in bed trying to get to sleep last night, Geronimo – I remembered a tiny stamp I had that said you colour my world, with that and some colourful papers I could see myself getting there. I must have gone out like a light once I had solved the problem because the next thing I knew it was morning and I was raring to get started. Anyway I did it and I am quite pleased with the results. What do you think? 4

I did make one concession, as I really couldn’t cope with quite so much white space and put half a dozen little tiny gems all different colours (to keep with the theme).

All for now

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.

You did a fabulous job, Helen! Love the added gemstones, they add a bit of sparkle, but clean and elegant is at the fore!

  4. Thanks Kathy, I am really pleased though still finding it hard to just “let go”. I have put it to the bottom of the pile waiting for inserts to be done, so I cannot see it. lol.
