Snowmen & Friends

As promised, to cool you down if you are in the UK at the moment, I am sending some Christmassy cards you way.

I hoped it worked and you are now a little cooler – though it is forcast to be turning colder again and I definitely don’t want that.  The heat and humidity can be very wearing but I prefer it to the cold any day of the week.

All for now folks,

Hugs

  2. thank you – they are brighter in real life but I coloured them using glitter pens which seemed to reflect the light and make them look a little dull.

The cooler weather reached us today, so maybe it will cross the pond and get to you. Are you already starting on Christmas cards? WOw!

  4. With my own and enough for the two charities I support I need to start early Kathy, and even the craft tv programs start selling their Christmas things in July lol.

  6. despite my early start I am never ready for Christmas. As I get older it seems to appear far more frequently than it did when I was young.

Hi Helen, I love your snowmen cards, I have a thing about snowmen so they are winners for me. I have finally, after a six month break, got back into the world of blogging and commenting today and have produced a blog post, so I apologise for the lack of commenting on your blog this year. Hopefully I will make amends but being a more frequent visitor in future. xx

Grrr-r-r, why does spell checker do its thing by altering what I had typed, the last sentence of my previous comment should read ‘by becoming a more frequent visitor.’

    • Lol Jan, I have to remove spell check as soon as I get it – I cannot stand it as I am old enough to know what I want to say – I do not need a machine to tell me. And it only checks that the word exists anyway not if it is correct – which is why so many emails contain comments like “I no”, “we went their”, and “this is wear we where today”. I do not have the tolerance for things like that as I get older lol.

    • Wendy you can send some of your rain our way (though you can keep the cold lol). We had a little rain at last during the night but I doubt it will have done much towards giving my flowers that really good drink of natures water that they need.
