Sal Sunday ….

EDITED TO SAY – I am cracking up – thought I had posted this yesterday, guess its better late than never.

ooops ….. we returned from holiday yesterday and – oh drat – I thought I had a week to work on Gracious Era, but alas time has rushed past me and I missed the date again.  At least this time I have been stitching, and I think my mojo has returned.  This time I was stitching on my holiday piece so I will share that with you instead.  Here is how it looked when I returned from Gran Canaria at the end of March

I am quite pleased with the progress I made as with only one week to investigate Montinegro, there was not a lot of time for sitting stitching.  It is now packed away again until the next holiday – nothing planned at the moment but I hope it will be soon.

All for now as I’m off to see what everyone else has been up to.  If you would also like to see what the others are upto then please click the link below:-

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.

    • Thanks Catherine. I used to always have a new start when I went on holiday but my wips rota started to get a bit too large to handle so I decided on one project I would just keep for holidays and try to reduce my rota down to three projects. At the moment I am doing that but still have a few ufo’s to bring in as each of them are finished. Hopefully being with the group will get me down to just 3 and no ufo’s one day lol.

This a a great piece for holiday sewing! Variety, pretty colors, exactly what you want with you. I don’t have too many issues with UFO’s except for the final finishing, BUT I sure do have a LONG list of I want to stitch that!!
