Octobers wip’s

A little late posting -yet again.  I have been full of cold and not felt like moving from the sofa very far,  though I did watch quite a bit of Hochanda (craft tv) and Create and Craft so I am full of idea’s for my card making.

On the stitching front as I had finished the Antique Rose sampler, see last post, I decided to do a little more on Wildlife of the Hedgerow, before restarting my rota.  This is really a holiday project as its such an easy stitch but I was so close to finishing the first quarter on this when we returned from our last holiday I just had to tackle that first.

First quarter complete, this has now gone away again until the next holiday.

Then back to the three I have chosen to do for my rota at the moment,  and first out the bag was EMS Garden Alphabet.  A good week for stitching as I managed to get both the squirrel and the letter “O” for orchids, finished.  So this is the bit I stitched this week

and this is how the whole thing is looking so far.

I really ought to do some more of the edge, but it gets so boring lol.

I am now doing Gracious Era again, so hopefully next weekend I will have an update on that to share.

On the personal front I have had an appointment for a pre-med exam for the 17th of November, so I am hoping that they will give me a date for my first eye op whilst I am there, and that I wont have too long to wait, fingers very crossed).

I have also asked to join a group that posts once every three week to show their wip pictures.  I am hoping (if I am accepted) that it will encourage me to post a little more often, as I seem to have got out of the habit recently.

All for now folks, sending hugs to those who need them

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.
