Cards for March Birthdays

Five birthdays coming up this month.

This first one was a Parchment card for my friend Ruth.  I am trying to do one card a month, they are very time consuming, but I find it quite relaxing and very therapeutic.  I know my skills are improving but I do need to work on writing as this one is very shakey.  I usually cheat and add a peel off sentiment.

RUTH 1RUTH insert
Making the insert for this card was a bit of a challenge, I didn’t think about that when I was actually working on this card with a slightly different shape to it.

I loved making this brightly coloured card for my friends little granddaughter.

These two were for old family friends,  who I have known most of my life

and lastly

if a card for my dear friend Heather

this was made using the frame from the Sue Wilson Expressions Collection, Ornate Frame Brighter Days.

I hope you enjoyed looking at these cards and tomorrow I will try and post the February Charity Cards I have made

Hugs Helen

About stitchingranny

I am one of those people who need to have busy hands so whether its stitching or papercrafting, I am always doing something. I also love being in the garden, though hubby does most of the work there these days.
